Terms of Service

Article 1 (Purpose and Nature of the Service)

These Terms set out the rights, obligations and responsibilities between DevApril Co., Ltd. (the “Company”) and its members in relation to the use of Q-MakerAI (the “Service”). Q-MakerAI is a SaaS product that uses AI to extract question data from exam papers and teaching materials in PDF or image form, converts it into editable digital questions, and provides features such as similar-question generation, a question bank (Q-Bank), online exam publishing and grading (Q-LMS), and export to Hangul (HWPX) and Word files.

AI analysis results are automatically generated and may contain errors. Members must review and correct the results on the review (HILF) screen provided before putting them to use.

Article 2 (Membership Registration)

• Registration is available to those aged 14 or older.
• Members register with an email address and a password, and may use the Service once email verification is complete.
• Use may be restricted where false information has been entered.
• In the event of a breach of these Terms, the Company may restrict use or terminate the service agreement.

Article 3 (Withdrawal of Membership)

• Members may withdraw at any time through their profile settings or through customer support.
• On withdrawal, the data registered by the member is destroyed in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
• Where a paid plan subscription is in effect, the paid service is maintained until the end of the period already paid for.
• Refunds of unused remaining points follow the Refund Policy.

Article 4 (Paid Services and Payment)

The paid products of the Service are as follows, and payments are processed securely through TossPayments Inc.

• Point top-ups: points are topped up at 1 point (P) = KRW 1, and are deducted when processing completes for each task step, for similar-question generation, and for exam publishing. The top-up limit is KRW 100,000 per payment, and payment is possible only by selecting one of the amount options offered by the Service.
• Validity period and refundable period of points: topped-up points can be used and refunded within 1 year of the payment date.
• No transfer: topped-up points may be used only in the member's own account and may not be transferred, gifted, sold or exchanged between members. Points are not exchangeable for cash or any other means of payment, and refunds follow the procedure set out in the Refund Policy.
• Plan subscription (30 days): Basic KRW 29,000 / Pro KRW 59,000 / Business KRW 119,000. Each plan provides task credits and a page limit per task.
• Sign-up bonus (free trial): new accounts receive 20,000P in trial points. Trial points are usable for 10 days from the day of first use, and after that period their use is restricted (they are not deleted, and the restriction is lifted upon any paid purchase). Points granted free of charge are not eligible for refund.
• Order in which points are spent: Your points are spent in this order — trial points, then points you purchased, then points granted for free. Trial points, which carry an expiry, are used first, followed by the points you purchased. Points spent before a top-up are never charged again to that top-up.

AI processing costs are counted and deducted at the point where processing completes. Nothing is deducted when processing fails; if the same task is retried and completes, it is charged again.

Article 5 (Refunds and Withdrawal of Subscription)

• Unused points may be submitted for refund in accordance with the Refund Policy (1P = KRW 1).
• Topped-up points can be used and refunded within 1 year of the payment date.
• A plan subscription is refunded in full if no paid feature has been used within 7 days of the payment date.
• Points already spent (processing completed) and points granted free of charge are not refunded.
• Where the cause is a technical error on the part of the Company, a refund is issued following individual review.

Article 6 (Content and Copyright)

• Securing the copyright in, and the right to use, the original files uploaded is the member's own responsibility.
• The right to use the results the member processes or generates (extracted questions, similar questions, exported files) belongs to the member.
• Export (download) limit: results may be downloaded up to 10 times per completed task, for 7 days from the date the task was completed. This limit applies equally to all members, regardless of free-trial status. However, while a paid plan subscription is valid, downloads are unlimited in number and remain available until the subscription ends (where 7 days from the task completion date falls later, availability is guaranteed until that later date); once the subscription ends, the base limit above applies again. Even if a single export is saved as several files, it counts as one download. The exact number and period may change in line with the guidance shown within the Service.
• The internal JSON schema structure stored in the database is an intellectual asset of the Company; deliverables are provided as files such as Word and HWPX.
• Members must not infringe the rights of others or interfere with the normal operation of the Service.

Article 7 (Changes to and Suspension of the Service)

Some features and their scope may change in line with the policies of external AI model providers and operational circumstances, and the Company may change or suspend all or part of the Service after prior notice.

Article 8 (Limitation of Liability)

The Company does not warrant the accuracy of the analysis and generation results produced by AI, and members are responsible for verifying the results through the review process. The Company is not liable for damage arising from force majeure, external API failures, or causes attributable to the member.

Article 9 (Dispute Resolution)

Disputes relating to these Terms shall in principle be resolved by mutual consultation; where consultation proves difficult, mediation may be requested from the Korea Consumer Dispute Settlement Commission. Where litigation is necessary, the court having jurisdiction over the location of the Company's head office shall be the competent court.

These Terms are executed in Korean, which is the governing language. Translations into other languages are provided for convenience only; in the event of any discrepancy in interpretation, the Korean text prevails.
